Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Achievelt tutors are handpicked not just for their academic performance but their ability to relate to both students and parents while effectively understanding student needs, forming a connection with the student themselves. We offer high quality services that go beyond the tutor session, extending to recorded lessons and individual homework support between sessions where required.

Our belief is that a happy and confident child with the correct tools can and will succeed. And ‘success' is different for everyone!

Our Story
Introducing Ella Delaney, who at the beginning of Year 11 (2021) in a time of specific need, needed to balance her school studies, and rehabilitation following a severe sporting injury.

Ella's subjects for Year 11 included: Maths Ext 1, Maths Adv, Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Business Studies. These subjects involve concepts that build on previous foundational knowledge, and it was crucial for Ella to find a way to keep up with the curriculum. She was quickly falling behind in the midst of juggling medical appointments, physical rehabilitation and the mental challenges of her brain that had rewired.

The concept for Achievelt began as one of Ella's teachers suggested using past students from the school's community to supplement recorded teacher lessons, in the months she wasn't able to attend school. The benefit the students provided was not only practical advice but also a genuine connection, motivation and an understanding that young people who had recently completed the HSC, provide.

Like in life, finding the right relationships is key. Soon enough these students became the ongoing mentors and trusted confidants, each with a vested interest in Ella's personal success. Together, the formula just seemed to work and today at 18-19yo, Ella's goal to study Engineering is a reality; commencing B Engineering (Bioinformatics / Biomedical) and B Commerce (Finance) at UNSW in 2024.

Ella has spent 2023 building the business through a combination of face to face and online tutoring while returning to her much-loved sport of Sailing as both a competitor and a coach.

Ella is a member of the CYCA Youth Sailing Academy - Advanced Squad. She is an Australian Olympic Change-Maker award recipient and awarded acceptance to UNSW's Elite Athlete Program. She coaches sailing at RSYS, the CYCA and will join the team at Cranbrook School in 2024 after having coached SCECGS Redlands in 2022-23. Ella has held trusted positions at Ascham School as Captain of Innovation (STEM) and Vice-Captain of Sailing.

Ella’s Year 12 subjects included:
• Maths Ext 1
• Maths Ext 2
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Advanced English

At Achievelt, Ella primarily tutors Mathematics and is very much looking forward to working with you!
